The local branch of the public and welfare sectors trade union has around 1,300 members. Membership includes advocacy, support, member benefits and unemployment fund membership. The union provides travel and leisure insurance through Turva.
The association holds spring and autumn meetings and member events. Members vote in the union's representative assembly elections. The office is in Villa-Aitta, with an accessible entrance, parking and seating. The toilet is not wheelchair accessible.
