The regional child welfare organisation promotes the wellbeing and participation of children, young people and families in Kymenlaakso and South Karelia. Its 28 local associations run family cafés, hobby clubs, groups and family events. Its advocacy brings children's perspectives into decision-making.
Activities include peer support groups, volunteer family sponsors, reading-volunteer training and other volunteering opportunities. Nature and animal-assisted projects are provided for young people. Partners include municipalities, wellbeing services counties, NGOs and parishes. The office is in the travel centre, with accessible parking.
