This historical merchant house museum shows the life of a merchant family in the 1700s and 1800s. The building dates from 1761 and has been a museum since 1939, with interiors from the 1760s to the 1840s as a highlight. It is part of the Ahlström foundations, holds ECEAT environmental certification and takes part in Visit Finland's STF sustainable tourism programme.
The neighbouring Félénin talo hosts events and exhibitions and can be rented for private functions. Café Lebell operates in its garden in summer. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
