This indoor ice hall is used for ice hockey and curling in winter and roller hockey in summer. Facilities include LED lighting, a safety rink, changing rooms and washing facilities, and a skate sharpening service, with a seated spectator stand. It suits ice hockey tournaments, other ice events and figure skating events, and in summer it can host trade fairs and exhibitions. Kiva HT runs free skating and hockey schools in the hall for children aged 3 to 10.
The hall is part of the sports centre, about a kilometre from the town centre. Nearby practice facilities include an athletics track, swimming hall, gym, running track, tennis courts and an outdoor rink, which helps visiting teams. Hall staff can help arrange accommodation packages. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
