This online shop sells firearms and hunting accessories and is run by Pääkkönen & Piirainen Oy. It grew out of a hunting and fishing shop founded in 1946, now in its third generation of family ownership. Besides ammunition and hunting supplies, it offers gunsmith services.
Firearms are ordered online and require a purchase permit from the local police department. The buyer posts the signed permit, and the firearm is then shipped back cash-on-delivery. The firearm must be shown with the completed permits to the local police within one month of receipt.
