The lunch restaurant's large, quality buffet has won several awards as a lunch of note. The weekday buffet has a salad table, oven potatoes with five fillings, the daily soup, pasta, rice and a vegetarian option. Daily hot dishes include chicken, pork, fish and beef, with vegetarian and vegan choices marked on the menu. The weekly soup is vegan, and some dishes are lactose-free and gluten-free. Lunch can be eaten on site or taken away. Treffa is the adult section for business meetings and quiet lunches, seating 50, with a private room for 18.
On the same second floor, a terrace with views over the market square opens in summer. Saturdays bring a brunch, with special brunches on some public holidays; brunch tables are booked by email only. The place is run by brothers Antti and Mikko Kärki. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Aapeli shopping centre, with a free first hour in the parking hall. Seating, parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible, but there is no hearing loop.
