According to its website, this is Finland's first regional photography centre. The gallery stages national and international photography exhibitions throughout the year, and guided tours of the current exhibitions are offered. During the summer season Cafe Vohoveli operates on the premises.
The Museum Card and Kaikukortti are accepted for admission. Well-behaved pets on a lead are welcome. There is an accessible toilet, but the car park and main entrance are not wheelchair accessible; a more accessible entrance is on the right side of the building.
