This swimming club was founded in 1904 and was one of the founding member clubs of the Finnish Swimming Federation in 1906. Its disciplines are swimming, water polo, diving and artistic swimming. It offers recreational and competitive training for all ages, plus swimming schools and courses, including a Freestyle diving group for new and experienced divers.
The club has produced national team swimmers and Olympic diving representatives, including at the 1912 Stockholm Games, and a former member has competed at European Championship level in artistic swimming. Trial sessions are free, and private lessons and commissioned courses are available. Membership is open to anyone accepted by the club committee, and minors need parental consent. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
