Built in 1777, this wooden cruciform church is attributed to Antti Hakola through research by Heikki Klemetti. Its plan has 24-sided outer corners and room for about 1,200 people. The altar and pulpit carvings are by Heikki Mikkilä. Construction of the separate neoclassical bell tower began in 1829, and its bells were mechanised in 1983. Objects from an earlier church built in 1654 are displayed in a museum.
The church hosts services, communion and events, and outside groups can hire it. The building is described as almost barrier-free, with wheelchair-accessible entry, parking and a toilet.
