The third-generation family business rents cabins on the shore of Lake Saapunkijärvi. Three of its four units are traditional round-log cabins and one is a villa. The family continued cabin rentals after rebuilding the original farm following the Second World War. The lake's name comes from a Sámi word for a reindeer lasso.
The cabins have multiple bedrooms and cooking facilities. Nearby activities include ice fishing, sledding, cross-country skiing, boating and fishing. A ski trail starts at a nearby school, and reindeer can often be seen near the cabins.
