The health centre services are run by Harjun terveys oy, owned by Mehiläinen (51%) and the Päijät-Häme wellbeing services county (49%). It has been responsible for primary health care in Kärkölä and Iitti, as well as in the city itself, since 2021, with Hartola added in 2023. Services include general outpatient care, dental care, direct-access physiotherapy and health and social work. During urgent care hours you can walk in without an appointment, and a service desk helps with forms, sick-leave certificates and missing lab referrals. A substance abuse outpatient service is open to all ages.
Digital services include the Päijät-Sote app, online services and a remote clinic. Through the app you can also use the family planning clinic and infection testing. A text message service is available for deaf and hard-of-hearing customers, and there are immigrant health services, travel vaccinations and infectious disease advice. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
