This vocational education provider offers upper secondary vocational education for young people and adults in the Päijät-Häme region. Applications can be made through continuous application or the joint national application. Fields include beauty care, vehicle maintenance, culinary arts, construction, retail, and textiles and fashion. Students run practical services such as a beauty salon, vehicle servicing, a restaurant and a pet boarding facility, along with the student-run stores Opinstore and Kauppis and an online shop, SalpausPay.
Employers can use workplace-based training, including apprenticeships and student placements, as well as continuing education, workplace instructor training and management development. A corporate partnership programme includes many regional companies and public bodies, and stipend donations go to field-specific stipend funds. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
