This small-group family daycare focuses on arts-oriented early childhood education. The carer has a background in kindergarten work, practical nursing and art therapy. The day includes creative play, excursions, stories, music, dance, theatre and visual arts, with predictable routines supported by pictures and sign support.
Care is given at home in the Kivimaa area, near the Niemi district. Children spend time in the nearby forest, on beaches and in playgrounds, travelling by bus, on foot or by bike. Care is offered in Finnish, English and Dutch. The entrance, toilet, seating and car park are wheelchair accessible, but there is no hearing loop.
