This roadside grill stop at the Harju rest area has operated at the same location for over 20 years. It is popular with truck drivers and other road travellers, and the portions are hearty and in an old-fashioned grill style. It is most widely known for steamed sausages (höyrymakkara) and meat pies (lihapiirakka).
The menu also includes burgers, hot dogs, porilainen sausage sandwiches, kebab dishes and grill platters. The pulled pork and pulled chicken are slow-cooked overnight in house. Sausage options include grilli-makkara, Balkan sausage and long meaty sausages. Burgers come on house brioche buns, with some on rye bread, and there are kebab and pulled-meat salads. The menu is in Finnish, and the car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
