This employee-owned cooperative was established in 1998 and specialises in marine electrical installation. About 40 qualified marine electricians work on all kinds of vessels, including cruise ships, cargo ships, navy units and oil platforms. The work covers new construction, upgrades and renovation of existing vessels, from power generation and supply to cabling, communication and alarm systems, lighting, ventilation, elevators and battery rooms.
The cooperative supplies all major Finnish shipyards, and the vessels it has worked on were built at yards such as Kvaerner Masa-Yards, Aker Finnyards, STX, Meyer Turku and Arctech. It has also taken on inland projects such as shopping centres and restaurant facilities.
