The local German Shepherd association has operated since 1977 and became independent in 2002. Members can train in obedience, protection, search and tracking, with puppy courses and trial-focused training also offered.
The association has a training field and holds an annual match show in a hall. Trainers include a training director and licensed judges and helper personnel. Interested owners and people with new puppies can get in touch by email. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
