Run by a sighthound club founded in 1950, the training area has a fenced, flat 260-metre straight track. It is ten metres wide, with grass and sand surfacing and sandy starting and braking areas. The club also arranges lure-running practice and group walks.
Members and non-members can use the track with a season card and gate code. The card includes access when the track is free; one-hour slots can be reserved online. Park at the start end rather than at the neighbouring shop. Users must close the gate, clear up after dogs and follow the rules on using grass after rain.
