The public lakeside beach has gently deepening sand suitable for families with children. Medium-coarse sand extends well into the water, and there is a long pier. The beach is about eight kilometres from the centre.
Changing rooms and outdoor toilets are provided. There is no dedicated car park, though a few cars can fit beside the changing room building. The cycle path only reaches Soukainen village. There is no lifeguard, and swimming and jumping are at your own risk.
