This family business sells fish and fish products: fresh, smoked, frozen, gravad and pickled. The fish is caught daily and smoked in-house at the Ahvenkoski smokehouse. It is run by Ben and Disa Henriksson, who began selling fish from a van in 1988. The company was founded in early 2004, and the couple earlier ran fish fast-food restaurants in Porvoo, Tesjoki and Lappeenranta. They received a local entrepreneur award in 2002 and a national young entrepreneur award in 2003.
At Ahvenkoski the fish shop is in a former salt warehouse, and another shop has a fish bar. The company also offers fishing and sea cruise packages and salmon fishing, and the Ruhtinas villa offers accommodation with a sauna. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
