Founded in 1943, the local heritage museum comprises Makasiini, the Sirén house museum and a school museum. Objects date from the early 1800s to the 1960s, with school materials extending to the 1980s. The school display includes primers from about a century ago and items from Kartano and Käkikoski schools after their early-1990s closures.
More than 3,200 collection photographs have been digitised since 2010. Donations of old photographs and related information are welcomed. A museum committee runs the site, with Juha Kekki as the contact person.
