Built in 1843, the restored parsonage is writer J. Aho's birthplace, a visitor attraction, event venue and family home. Restoration began in 2006, with visits starting in 2008. Hand-painted wallpapers copy mid-19th-century layers found during renovation, and the garden has also been restored.
Visits are by prior arrangement. Guided visits with coffee and stories last 30–60 minutes. Tours are in Finnish and English, with Swedish and Russian on request. Celebrations and cultural and parish gatherings are hosted here. The company also undertakes small-scale publishing. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
