This summer theatre is on Halkosaari island in a crater lake. The stage began in the early 1990s as the main stage of the former Tulivuorirock festival. The covered auditorium has about 700 seats, plastic chairs with backrests. The programme leans towards humour and music.
The lake is described as the largest crater lake in Europe. Nearby, Kraatterijärvi Adventure rents kayaks, SUP boards and water jets and offers guided fishing trips, with rentals bookable online. Terrace Kirppu, the lakeside terrace of Hotelli Kivitippu, has live music. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
