This konditoria and café sits on the market square side of the Vanhapankkitalo building and has been in business since 2004, according to its website. Its own konditoria bakes pastries, cakes and other confectionery, and cakes and treats can be ordered for celebrations. It is known for hand-made rye Karelian rice pies. The coffee comes from a local roastery, Makea Coffee.
On weekdays it serves breakfast and lunch, including soups, salads, baked potatoes and burgers. In the winter season a Karelian long breakfast is served on Saturdays. Private family celebrations can be held on the premises, and part of the café can be partitioned off for smaller events. An online shop and gift cards are offered. Accessible seating is available.
