Breeding focuses on Jämthunds, or Swedish elkhounds, with an emphasis on hunting ability, breed standards and strong hunting bloodlines. The programme is based on a strong female line. The kennel name was registered in 1988, and its first Jämthund litter was born in 2010.
Breeding began with German hunting terriers, which the owner started breeding in 1979, with around twenty active years in the breed. The family's dog history reaches back to the 1920s and also includes Finnish hounds.
