According to its website, the PääAsia chain was founded in 1981 and has three salons: Sammonlahti, Prisma and Mylly. This branch is inside the Prismakeskus shopping centre. It offers men's, women's and children's haircuts, plus colouring, highlights, multi-colour work and balayage-style services. Styling includes blow-dries, updos, bridal and party hairstyles, and make-up for parties, daytime and eyes.
Hair extensions (weft, Mago thread-attached and tape) are chosen after a consultation. Appointments can be booked online. The entrance, toilet and car park are wheelchair accessible. The salon takes hairdressing students for internships and recruits hairdressers.
