This archery club was founded in 1976 and has been a member of the Finnish Archery Federation since the federation was founded. It also belongs to the Finnish Field Archery Federation and the Etelä-Karjala sports federation. Archery can be practised in several forms: barebow, sight, traditional bow and longbow shooting.
The sport suits everyone regardless of gender or fitness level. Beginners should be about ten years old or older, and there is no upper age limit. The club provides equipment, so you can try archery without your own gear. Beginners can join the introductory Ensinuolet course or open trial events. On competition days the clubhouse café serves coffee, tea, sandwiches and pastries, with gluten-free options.
