The cancer patient association supports people with cancer and their relatives in South Karelia, South Savo and the Heinola area. Activities include peer groups, bereavement courses, exercise, relaxation groups and workshops. Confidential Luoto conversation support is available at different stages of illness.
Nurses and a hospice support person assist at the palliative stage. The association provides cancer information and guidance on benefits and financial matters. The office is in Galleria shopping centre. Membership, donations and pink ribbon products support its work.
