Founded in 1978 and registered as an association in 1981, the amateur theatre produces comedy, drama and musical theatre, usually with two to five premieres a year. Its indoor venue is TeatteriHiomo in the Vanha Paukku cultural centre, where summer theatre has also taken place since 2009.
Activities include a youth theatre group. Actors and directors are recruited for productions, and guest performances also feature in the programme. The entrance, toilet and car park are wheelchair accessible.
