Founded in 1991, the non-profit association works on an interdenominational Christian basis and belongs to the national Sininauha federation. It runs a meeting place, the Hyvä SAUMA sewing workshop and a second-hand shop. Sewing services repair and alter clothes, bags, curtains and household textiles.
Activities include daily breakfast and lunch with coffee, food aid when needed and a transport service. Wi-Fi is available at the meeting place, and volunteers can take part. The car park is wheelchair accessible. Funders include the South Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county and STEA.
