The garden waste reception accepts branches, raking waste, tree trunks and stumps. Branches are chipped for energy use, while raking waste is composted. It is operated by the South Karelia waste management company.
Small household trailer loads should be sorted. Invasive alien plants must go to staffed stations or the Kukkuroinmäki treatment centre. Planting soil and bark mulch are sold at the station in spring and summer.
