Run by the parish, the café provides an accessible meeting place in everyday community life. Volunteers bake the goods, including gluten-free options, and most products are low-lactose or lactose-free. Waffles are served on Saturdays. A small gift shop sells crafts, cards, books and small gifts.
Proceeds support a children's home in Myanmar and parish mission work. Volunteers can help with coffee, sales, baking or crafts, with training provided. The Toivontori mission flea market is next door. Accessible parking is available, but there is no hearing loop.
If you stopped for coffee or volunteered, share your experience in the comments for other visitors and prospective volunteers.
