This psychology and therapy service uses animal-assisted methods in a rural natural setting. Horses may be present at sessions when agreed in advance. Short-term psychotherapy typically runs for 5 to 25 sessions, and no referral is needed. Psychologist support and guidance visits, parent guidance, and school and student psychology services are also offered.
The service also provides animal-assisted work supervision, lectures and training, and Green Care expert services. The seven-session EAAPI Horse Wisdom Program builds emotional and interaction skills through feedback from horses. It suits children, young people and adults, and no horse experience is needed. Appointments are required. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
