Founded in 2003, the club teaches Shotokan karate for recreational practice and competition. It belongs to the Finnish Karate Federation and JKA Finland. Sensei Saana Seppälä is the head coach, and several instructors hold first- to third-dan black belts.
Training takes place on the third floor of the Piippo centre. Use the Budo hall intercom to enter; parking is available behind the building. The club also hosts JKA summer camps that include self-defence training.
