The association focuses on Karelian wartime and local history and runs a history centre in the railway station area. Activities include lectures, book launches, memorial seminars and commemorative events. More than 200 volunteers have taken part in restoring the station and its surroundings.
Volunteer guides are involved in the centre's activities. Books published by the association can be purchased from its online shop, and the website carries a news archive.
