Open to everyone, the non-profit organisation coordinates and trains volunteers and holds cultural events, discussions, group activities and café gatherings. There is an on-site café and lactose-free home-style lunch. Handicrafts and baked goods are sold, with baking also available to order.
Visitors can use a public computer and printer and read newspapers. Train tickets and admission to Rukajärvi Centre and the Raappana hall exhibition are sold. Rooms can be hired for meetings and small celebrations. Lunch is available to take away or for delivery within the centre. The entrance, parking and toilet are accessible, and a doorbell can be used to request assistance.
