On the shore of Liminganlahti bay, a nationally valued bird wetland, stand a nature hotel, a café-restaurant and a nature centre that lends out binoculars. Around 200 bird species have been recorded in the area, about 160 of them breeding there. The bird tower is about 600 metres away along a wide boardwalk suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Programmes include bird tower guiding, dark-sky guiding, e-fatbike tours, northern lights lectures and wellness sessions such as yoga and meditation. Team activities include indoor games, a team trail nearby and a Go Arctic indoor competition.
The hotel has eight rooms, four family rooms and four doubles, bookable year-round. Pet rooms are available and dogs are welcome in all facilities. Campervans and caravans can stay in the yard, booked via the Matkaparkki app. Breakfast is served at the hotel in the mornings; in winter a pre-ordered breakfast package is brought to the room instead of a buffet. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
