The municipal day-care centre has six groups ranging from toddlers to children aged 3–5. Facilities include its own gym hall and woodworking workshop. Positive pedagogy and nature education are the main educational emphases.
Groups visit nearby woods and parks every week. Small groups are staffed by an early childhood teacher and care or youth assistants, with a special needs early childhood teacher also involved. The building has a wheelchair-accessible entrance.
