The theatre stages musical plays based on Bible texts, with Jesus and the Bible at the centre. The plays are performed outdoors at Vivamo, the grounds of Kansan Raamattuseura on the shore of Lake Lohjanjärvi. The seasons are Easter, summer and Christmas. Performances mix drama, music and dance, and the audience moves between stages.
Productions suit all ages, including families, groups and individual visitors. Tickets are sold through Tiketti.fi or can be reserved directly, group bookings included. The village was founded in 2005, and over 500 volunteers from 21 nationalities have helped build it. Vivamo traces its roots to 1916 and became a centre of Kansan Raamattuseura in 1952. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
