Harjula is a classicist-style venue from the 1920s, run by the municipal youth work and located near the centre. Rentable spaces include Kanerva hall and the Orvokki and Vuokko meeting rooms. Kanerva hall has a stage, cassette seating for 107 on request and 25 tables with chairs, plus internet, a sound system, theatre lights, a data projector with screen and a separate serving kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, with tableware for 50 diners and a fast dishwasher.
The hall holds up to 240 people plus 50 in the gallery, the meeting room takes 20, and Orvokki suits about 12. The venue is completely alcohol-, drug- and tobacco-free, and candles are not allowed. Availability is shown in an online booking calendar, and bookings are made with an electronic form. Renters are responsible for the premises, cleaning and any damage, and a responsible person must be present. Sound and seating are arranged with staff in advance, and public events need a police permit. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
