Opened in 2021 in a converted cowshed built in 1948, the café serves entirely gluten-free products, which the owner also describes as lactose-free. Vegan options are included where possible. The small shop sells crafts by the owner and other local makers.
Courses, concerts and a monthly book club are held on the premises. Matin Mökki, a sauna building on the grounds sleeping six, can be rented through Airbnb. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and Aada is the café's resident dog. The entrance, toilet, seating and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
