Founded in 1991, the municipally owned rental housing company manages around 2,000 apartments. It operates on a non-profit basis, using rent income for maintenance, repairs and development. Much of the housing dates from the 1970s to the 1990s.
Tenant selection follows legislation and state-supported housing rules. The office works by appointment, with 12 staff serving residents. Building-specific tenant committees organise work parties and shared activities. The website has Finnish and Swedish sections and an English introduction.
