The memorial to Ingrian people stands in St. Laurence churchyard, surrounding a church built in the late 1400s. The churchyard covers about 4.5 hectares and was last extended in 1945. Other sites include a war graves area designed by Ilmari Wirkkala and a memorial to those who died in 1918.
A mobile tour introduces the memorials and plants. A guidebook with a map of notable graves and monuments is sold at the tourist service centre and local museum. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
