Founded in 1976, the diving club belongs to the Finnish Underwater Sports Federation and has around 80 members. Annual scuba and snorkelling courses are taught by approved instructors and lead to an international CMAS diver certificate. The Norppa youth group for ages 8–15 practises swimming, snorkelling, freediving, first aid and lifesaving.
