The church in Hirvikoski is the main church of the parish. A neoclassical stone church designed by Carlo Bassi was completed in 1837 and destroyed by fire in 1888. It was rebuilt in 1892 to a design by Josef Stenbäck in a revival style. The altarpiece, Christ on the Cross, is an 1850 painting by court painter R. W. Ekman, and the main organ was built in 1895 by B. A. Thulé of the Kangasala organ factory. A restoration in 2007 returned the interior surfaces and colours to their 1890s appearance, and the roof was renewed in 2015.
The church holds up to 1,000 people and has no public gallery. It can be booked for services and concerts through the parish services. Access is step-free, with an accessible toilet, an induction loop and accessible parking. The toilets are in a yellow service building, and the accessible entrance is through the south doors facing Hirvikoski. Large parking areas surround the church.
