This municipal early childhood education centre is in the Launonen area. Five groups look after children aged 1 to 5, including groups for 0–3 and 3–4 year olds and a group for 5-year-olds. Pre-primary groups run in the premises of Launonen school. The approach emphasises presence pedagogy and a calm, safe atmosphere.
The children make regular outings to the nearby forest, the running track and the school field, and a large hall offers space for indoor movement and gatherings. Activities follow the municipal early childhood education and pre-primary curriculum. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
