This lunch restaurant and catering business was founded in September 2007 by Yuki and Tsutomu Tazaki. On weekdays it serves lunch with a salad buffet, home-baked bread and coffee included. The menu mixes Finnish home cooking with international dishes, and Japanese, Indian and Thai dishes are adapted to Finnish tastes. Vegetarian and vegan food is a particular focus.
Only Finnish meat is used, apart from chicken that is sometimes sourced from Lithuania. Ingredients are fresh and, where possible, local or organic. Bread is baked in-house every day. The menu marks gluten-free, lactose-free, milk-free and vegan dishes. Owner Tsutomu Tazaki trained in pastry in Vienna and worked as head chef at Restaurant Saltbodan. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
