The harbour-side area has terraces, small boutiques and bistro-style food. Boat trips from the harbour reach Svartholma sea fortress in about half an hour. Built in the 1750s, the fortress has been restored by the Finnish Heritage Agency since the 1960s.
Svartholma island also has a bistro serving meals. The departure area has an accessible entrance, car park and toilet.
