The café is run by a foundation established in 1992 to support pensioners and people with disabilities. It serves breakfast, hot lunch, and small savoury and sweet snacks.
Menus are available in Finnish and Swedish. There is terrace seating in summer, and surplus food is sold after lunch to reduce waste. The entrance, parking area, seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
