This confectionery belongs to the Corint bakery and café chain, which has four locations: Lauttasaari, Itis and Arabia in Helsinki, and one more elsewhere. This site is described as the company's largest bakery and its roots. The chain was founded in 1971 by Katrin Löwenfelt and Nils-Erik Frejborg, reviving the recipes of Hilda Segerman. The bakery on Bulevardi was destroyed by fire in 1982, and operations moved to Gislominkatu. José Fuentes has owned the company since 1994. Products are handmade in its own bakery.
The café serves ready-made filled buns, pastries, coffee and hot chocolate. Cakes and savoury and sweet treats can be ordered for events, and catering is offered to companies and private customers. Orders can be placed online.
