This registered association was founded in 1972 and operates in the surrounding area as well as Lapinjärvi and Pyhtää, with roughly 70 to 80 members. It belongs to the Finnish Camera Clubs Federation and the international FIAP photography federation. Weekly club evenings include training, photo judging for other clubs, competitions and discussion of photography styles.
The monthly photo evenings are open to everyone, with no membership required. Members get equipment lending, courses, lectures and photo outings. Meetings take place in a former dairy building, in a multipurpose space with a meeting room and studio equipment. The club cooperates with other Finnish camera clubs and foreign partners.
